Beginner Kettlebell & Movement Essentials
 

Join the Southern Squeeze in their weekly Beginner Kettlebell class designed to teach kettlebell newbies their two keystone exercises: the swing and the Turkish getup. You will learn the exact technique to maximize safety AND results in this training program. You'll be exposed to a variety of mobility and core exercises to build a strong foundation. The goal is for students to feel confident coming to other classes and working with bells.

This is a partnership with the Southern Squeeze to include NCE students in currently scheduled classes. Please note: not all attendees will register with NCE or be on the same schedule. Space is limited.

Beginning HEMA: German Longsword
 
This course will introduce students to HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) with learning the knightly art of the German Longsword. The first half of the course will focus largely on learning the fundamentals of medieval fencing: footwork, body mechanics, and controlling the sword. Through solo and paired drills, students will learn a variety of guard positions, attacks, defenses and basic fencing theory before moving on to more advanced techniques and concepts. All equipment provided.

Fitness and Nutrition for Women
 
Experience a wholistic approach to living a healthy lifestyle! Each class will cover nutritional habits, goal setting, and self-actualization lessons. Gentle Yoga
