Studies have shown that keeping a private journal can help improve mental health and creativity, but finding the time to journal in today's hectic society is tough. Students will get the space & time to slow down and write while clearing their minds and releasing anxiety. Through a series of prompts and discussions, students will learn how to create their own unique journaling style and set goals. Bring your journal and a pen.

Intermediate Rhythm-Guitar Styles
 

Do you already know some chords and want to jam with friends and family? Upskill your current rhythm-guitar playing with four strums for your toolkit: easy-pop, Island, Waltz & Bo-Diddley. Students must bring an acoustic guitar, picks, and a capo.

Music City Songwriters
 
Music City is known for its world class musicians and  songwriters. Songs are stories put to music and each one of us has a story to tell. Students will  learn about the songwriting process as they collectively write songs and experience the ‘Nashville way’ of co-writing. Class will end by sharing songs in a Nashville Style Writers’ Round.

Singing With Vocal Technique
 
Learn to sing with proper vocal technique using breath, body posture, pitch, vocal anatomy, and diction. We will use exercises and group songs in each class. It is recommended to have some group or solo performance experience. The Artist's Way
