Food preservation is not a lost art and can be a great way to reduce food waste and let kitchen creativity shine. Participants will learn how to can jams and jellies and the basics of non-fermented pickling. Food safety and best practices will also be covered. Participants will also take home samples and recipes to begin canning on their own at home. Offered in partnership with the UT/TSU Extension.
